The Michigan Association of Latino Superintendents & Administrators (MI-ALAS) is a state Affiliate of ALAS. We are dedicated to empowering school superintendents and administrators to create equitable learning environments for Latino students. Mi-ALAS mission is to close achievement gaps and ensure all Latino students in Michigan have access to high-quality education that prepares them for success in college and career.

MI-ALAS provides comprehensive professional development opportunities, including workshops, conferences, and coaching, focused on culturally responsive teaching, leadership for equity, and data-driven decision-making. MI-ALAS also offers technical assistance and resources to support school districts in implementing equitable policies and practices.

Through partnerships with educational leaders, community organizations, and policymakers, MEI advocates for systemic change to address the unique needs of Latino students and create inclusive learning environments for all.
